HS2 Contractors - Chilterns

HS2 Contracts placed

Contracts for works northwards of the Chilterns Tunnel North Portal have been placed with the CEK consortium -

Carillion

 a leading integrated support services company with a substantial portfolio of Public Private Partnership projects and extensive construction capabilities. 

Eiffage

one of Europe's leading construction and concessions companies.

Kier Group

a leading integrated property, residential, construction and services group

The consortium has been awarded lots C2 (North Portal-Brackley) and C3 (Brackley - Long Itchington), with a total value of £1.4bn -

"These Lots will be awarded in two stages. Stage One will be a 16-month period to develop a design, a programme and a Target Cost for the construction of the works. Stage Two is the construction of the main works and this is expected to take between four and five years to complete."

Chiltern Tunnels

The Chiltern tunnels (with vent shafts) and Colne Valley Viaduct contract (Lot C1) has been placed with the Align joint venture -
