How to Help
The government clearly lost the argument over the consultation, & have decided to ignore public opinion. Under these circumstances, we are seeking to halt the development through the courts. This is an expensive business - our immediate aim is to raise the funds necessary for a judicial review, specifically querying the adequacy of the environmental impact assessment. You can help - firstly by making a direct donation, either a lump sum or by standing order, and secondly, by supporting our fundraising events.
To make a donation
If gift aid can be claimed, please send your donation via the Chesham Society HS2 fund. As a charity, they can claim gift aid, and will then donate the proceeds to the HS2 judicial review funds, in furtherence of their charitable objectives - protecting the local environment. Please enclose this form with your cheque.
